About DsForge

Tools chosen for the job in front of you

DsForge is an online store for cutting, digging, and clearing tools. We evaluate each axe, rake, entrenching tool, and leaf broom by how it handles real yard work, not by how it looks on a shelf. Every listing explains what the tool is for, how to use it, and how to keep it ready for the next season.

We ship Monday through Friday. Each order is packed to protect blades, tines, and handles in transit. Questions before or after a purchase can go to support@dsforge.com or our TikTok channel @dsforge.

How we test

Cutting edges, ash shafts, and tamping heads

A cutting edge should hold a working angle through a day of clearing brush and roots. We check steel hardness on every batch and reject blades that chip or roll under test strikes. The point is simple: a tool that keeps its edge is less work and safer to use.

Ash and hickory handles are chosen for straight grain and seasoned moisture content, which keeps them balanced under repeated swings and pulls. Tamping heads are checked for flat, true faces so they compact soil evenly without bending the shaft.

Before every shipment

What we check

Each tool passes the same inspection before it leaves the shop floor.

Assembly tolerances

Heads sit square on handles and fasteners are torqued to spec, so nothing wobbles under load.

Protective oiling

Exposed steel gets a light factory coat of oil to slow rust during storage and transit.

Packaging safety

Blades and tines are sleeved and boxed so sharp edges stay covered until you unpack them.
